De la filtraci\u00f3n de piscinas podemos aprender y aprovechar bastante. Por eso hemos querido probar el material filtrante Aqualoon. Es un material de filtraci\u00f3n mec\u00e1nica<\/strong> para piscinas, un producto que ya ofrecen varios fabricantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caracter\u00edsticas de Aqualoon:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\"Aqualoon:<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Son bolas de 4 cm de fibra de poli\u00e9ster<\/strong>. Las fibras son tan finas que pueden filtrar todo lo que sea mayor a una micra<\/strong>. Un filtro de arena, empleado en piscinas y estanques, filtra hasta 40 micras, es decir que Aqualoon es 40 veces m\u00e1s fino<\/strong>. Pr\u00e1cticamente filtra incluso bacterias<\/strong> y grasas. Por su capacidad filtrante y su facilidad de limpieza<\/strong> lo quisimos probar como material filtrante mec\u00e1nico en el acuario de discos. Cuando se cubre de suciedad, tan solo hay que enjuagarlo y lavarlo en la lavadora<\/strong> con una gota de detergente y despu\u00e9s a la secadora. Seg\u00fan parece este material se puede usar hasta 10 a\u00f1os<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conclusiones<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Para la primera prueba colocamos Aqualoon en todos los compartimentos del filtro exterior<\/strong>. A primera vista el agua estaba cristalina, sin embargo por las pocas bolas que caben en el filtro, la frecuencia de limpieza es alta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el segundo intento, colocamos Aqualoon directamente en el filtro, sin compartimentos. Pero \u00e9ste no puede circular bien por el filtro por su forma y tama\u00f1o. Har\u00eda falta un volumen mayor y con forma de esfera para facilitar el flujo circular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tampoco es una soluci\u00f3n llenar el filtro de bolas de Aqualoon, ya que son tan densas que el filtro se tapona en muy poco tiempo. La conclusi\u00f3n en este caso es que este material no es un medio filtrante adecuado para acuarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
